I’m Yanilis Romero. Since 2012, I’ve been taking learning beyond the classroom: research with my students, sister schools, immersions around the world and STEMGLISH+H, my project for learning English by solving real problems in our community.
Learning beyond the classroom, and more human
STEMGLISH+H is a project that promotes critical thinking, English language learning and global citizenship competencies through cross-curricular learning projects supported by technology, both inside and outside the classroom.
+H stands for “more human”: my students go out into real life and work with their community.
